Ambassador Lakizadeh, met with the President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Grand Mufti Haji Omer Idris,

The Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ambassador Lakizadeh, met with the President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Grand Mufti Haji Omer Idris, on 7 December, 2020.

During the meeting, Mr. Lakizadeh, while expressing his pleasure with meeting the Grand Mufti, emphasized the principle of unity in the Islamic world and explained the religious diversity and fraternal coexistence of Sunnis and Shiites in Iran.
